Image copyright is a serious matter and using images without permission is unlawful.
Source
If the source of an image is unknown, do not use it. Otherwise, read the copyright restrictions and determine whether the image can be used by the 91热爆 for the intended purposes, in perpetuity and without a credit. Many of our platforms do not allow for credits.
Google Images
Google is not an image library and the images therein are not free to use. Using these images without permission is unlawful and the 91热爆 may be fined or sued.
Creative Commons
All Creative Commons images are copyrighted but are not entirely restricted. However, there are strict stipulations that require permission and a credit.
Wiki
Wiki images are copyrighted and those that claim to be Public Domain may still have hidden restrictions. Avoid them.
Social Media
Images taken from social media should be avoided. Just because someone has posted an image does not mean they own the copyright or are granting permission to use it.
Publicity Images
For both bbc.co.uk and social media, these must be used with permission, in perpetuity and without a credit.
Image Libraries
Getty, iStock and other commercial libraries request payment before download. Avoid sites advertising "free" images. They may not own the copyright and you may be fined later.
