Faith in the World Week 2015
Growing Up in Multi-Faith Britain
From Sunday 18 to Sunday 25 October 2015, Faith in the World Week returns to look at what it means for young people to grow up in multi-faith Britain.
During the week, listeners will hear a powerful range of stories about family, friends and belief from teenagers, parents, grandparents and experts as they talk about the pleasures, pressures and pains of growing up in the often complex atmosphere of Britain in 2015.
As well as 91热爆 Radio 2 programmes and features celebrating Faith in the World Week, there will also be specials across 91热爆 Local Radio and Sunday Morning Live.

Sunday 23rd October, 7am: Fern Britton sits in for Clare and launches this year鈥檚 Faith in the World Week. Guests include hijab-wearing model Mariah Idrissi, composer James MacMillan on the sound of beauty, music from Pink Martini and faith guest Dina Brawer.

Wednesday 19th October, 12 noon: Katie Piper joins Jeremy for 鈥淲hat Makes Us Human鈥. Thursday 27th October: Vanessa Feltz sits in and Barbara Want, our relationships expert, joins her for a special entitled 鈥淚 always thought I was ugly鈥.

Friday 21st October, 6.30am: Chris talks to Rev Kate Bottley about her quest to find out what beauty is really all about and the attitudes she encountered along the way.

Tuesday 25th October 10pm: Rev. Kate Bottley explores the relationship between inner and outer beauty and what the world鈥檚 faiths teach about the effect our physical appearance has on our spiritual wellbeing.

Sunday 30th October, 7am: Fern Britton closes Faith in the World Week with the founder of Models of Diversity, Angel Sinclair. Katie Knowles talks about raising awareness for disabled models. Artist Matthew Collings on what beauty looks like. Plus faith guest Chine McDonald and music from country singer Jess Clemons.
