Gary Johnson is 91热爆 West Sports Personality of the Year

91热爆 West Sports Awards celebrate the finest in sporting achievement over
the past year.
听
The awards ceremony, held at the Bristol Marriot Royal, College Green,
celebrated 12 different categories and was attended by both professional
and amateur sportsmen and women from across the 91热爆 West region.
听
The final award of the evening was the 91热爆 West Sports Personality of
the Year.
The award went to Gary Johnson.
听
The 91热爆 West Sports Unsung Hero was awarded to Jules Cook, 39, from
Bristol. She formed Easton Girls FC eight years ago.
听
She coaches, raises
money, acts as press officer, organises an annual festival, is a taxi
driver to the players and also offers counselling.
听
Jules has affected the
lives of hundreds of young girls from this inner city part of Bristol.
She also sought and gained a grant as well as achieving an FA Charter
for the club. She spends at least 20 hours a week working for Easton
Girls.
听
She will now go forward to the star-studded 91热爆 Sports
Personality Of The Year programme, where an overall winner will be
named on Sunday (9 December).
听

for continued success and overseeing development)

Disabled Sportsperson of the Year: Louise Hunt (from Wanborough, GB
wheelchair tennis player and six-times London Marathon Winner)

Robinsons is for the first time the event sponsor of the 91热爆's Sports
Personality of the Year.
听
They are also supporting the 91热爆 Sports
Unsung Hero Award, now in its fifth year, which recognises and rewards
outstanding contribution by individuals at the grassroots level of local
sport.
听
Bursaries of up to 拢2,500 are available to the winners of each
regional award, to help them with their work in sport. 听
