91Èȱ¬ East Sports Awards celebrated the finest in sporting achievement over the past year and was attended by both professional and amateur sportsmen and women from across the 91Èȱ¬ East region.

The ceremony celebrated 10 different categories and was held at the American Air Museum, Duxford on Monday evening (12 November).
Ìý
The final award of the evening was the 91Èȱ¬ East Sports Personality of the Year. The award went to Lewis Hamilton.
Ìý
The 91Èȱ¬ East Unsung Hero was awarded to Paul Webb. Paul will now go forward in the star-studded 91Èȱ¬ Sports Personality Of The Year programme, where an overall winner will be named.

The award ceremony was broadcast live on 91Èȱ¬ Local Radio in the Region presented by Paul Stainton of 91Èȱ¬ Three Counties Radio.

Highlights of the event hosted by Stewart White will be shown on 91Èȱ¬ Look East.
