This is an acerbic, authentic and caustic comedy that covers the entire progress of a small African war, as seen through the eyes of a team of journalists sending back the nightly reports for the 91Èȱ¬ "Ten".

The team includes the smooth, veteran correspondent; the harassed, but infinitely resourceful, producer; and the green and gauche rookie stringer, dropped into a hotel and forced to choose between a room on "the shooting side" and "the mortar side".

Journalists in war zones live in a state of perpetual bloody war – with themselves, their organisation, their colleagues, their competitors and their loved ones. So, if they can’t get themselves embedded with the invading forces, they’ll get embedded with each other.

In the first true synthesis of news and narrative comedy, Taking The Flak is shot by an award-winning news cameraman entirely on location in Kenya and created, co-written and co-produced by experienced, award-winning journalists. It includes cameo appearances from George Alagiah, Sophie Raworth and Dermot Murnaghan.

This observational documentary looks at life in a pupil referral unit for pregnant schoolgirls and mums-to-be.

It's not a typical high school: it has a crèche where the girls can leave their babies; it is a place where exams turn to chaos as a girl goes into labour; lunchtime is interrupted by a child needing its nappy changed; and break-time can be taken up with breastfeeding.

But, essentially, the girls are there to learn – both for their GCSEs and how to be a mum. This film follows the girls as they struggle to balance being a teen mum with getting an education.

The story of four Iraqi friends – boys coming of age in the most dangerous city on Earth, Baghdad – is told in a special This World film. One is Kurdish, one Christian, one Shia and one mixed Sunni and Shia. As they enter their last year in school, can their friendship survive the sectarian violence that is tearing their city apart?

The film follows the quartet as they decide if they will stay in Baghdad or flee like so many before them, if they manage to graduate, or even live to see their 18th birthdays. Uniquely, The Boys From Baghdad High was filmed by the students themselves, offering a rarely seen insight into ordinary Iraqi lives.
