"Jasmine is a new English teacher, and has just graduated from college. She sometimes feels overwhelmed with the pupils, but can regain her confidence when pushed. She likes to have fun and doesn't like having to discipline the pupils, and sometimes feels she has little control over the class."

"Jasmine likes to have fun and she can get down to the students' level, but she can get freaked out and upset too easily."

"Yes, as long as the appropriate staff are in place to help."

What is your favourite storyline coming up, and why?

"Jasmine gets into a bit of bother later on in the series, but I can't reveal the storyline so far in advance. It's brilliant, though, and worth tuning in for!"

"I enjoyed drama, art and history, but my worst subject was maths."

"In Glasgow, but I live in Manchester now."
