From Monday to Wednesday nights
from 10pm, Radio Ulster listeners can
hear The Late Show with Cherrie McIlwaine,

Ìý
Cherrie, who also presents Gardeners'
Corner on Radio Ulster, says: "Late night radio and late night music make
absolutely perfect bedfellows. I really love
putting together the Late Show play list,
particularly when it gives me an opportunity
to feature musicians who are less likely to
be heard during the day.
Ìý
"91Èȱ¬ Radio Ulster provides as rich a musical
palette as you'll find anywhere and its great
to be part of the night time team."

The Late Show with Eamon Friel
Ìý
On Thursday nights, listeners can tune into
The Late Show with Eamon Friel.

to week in, week out.
Ìý
Eamon says: "My Thursday night on 91Èȱ¬
Radio Ulster has been defined as "an
opinionated guide to the music spectrum".
That's true. There's jazz, trad Irish, blues,
bluegrass, zydeco, show songs and folk and I
play a surprising amount of contemporary
music as well.
Ìý
"It's a programme that delves a bit deeper,
to inform, educate and entertain. Lord Reith
is proud of me!"
Ìý

and taste in music with our listeners.

songwriters, whether it's pop, traditional,

starting out, I'd say they all deserve attention
and I hope listeners agree.

some contemporary singers performing in
Irish."
