The Championship promotion race is getting very exciting

Forget the Premier League title race - the Championship is where it's at.
In the second tier of English football, Ipswich, Leicester and Leeds are in an extremely tight battle for automatic promotion, and the race is really hotting up.
There is only one point separating the top three with Southampton close behind in fourth.
The top two teams at the end of the season will win automatic promotion to the Premier League, with the final place being decided during the play-offs.
Who do you want to go up? Are you a fan of Ipswich, Leicester or Leeds?
Leeds and Leicester are both fighting to return to the top flight, having been relegated last season, with Ipswich arguably the underdogs.
They only made it to the Championship last season, so a back-to-back promotion would be a huge achievement from the Tractor Boys.
Singer Ed Sheeran is a lifelong fan, sponsored the club shirt, and was even named in the squad during the 2021/22 season, although he never actually played.
Ipswich have not been in the Premier League since 2002, but have managed to produce a string of great results to keep them in the running for automatic promotion.
They have done this with a much smaller budget than Leeds and Leicester who both receive "parachute" payments from the Premier League, which helps relegated teams avoid money struggles once they go down.
Earlier in the season, Leicester City, who overcame unlikely odds to win the Premier League title in 2016, were 12 points ahead of their closest rival.
They slipped up on a few occasions, allowing teams behind them to close the gap.
