The competition is all about celebrating the special relationship people have with man's best friend. The public can now vote for which courageous pooch they'd like to see win the title of the UK's most heroic dog. Elyana's mum said thanks to Gordon, she is positive and excited for the future, and doesn't feel that her deafness will stop her from achieving what she wants to.Image caption, Australian shepherd Echo has been by the side of her young owner Freya through thick and thin. Eight-year-old Freya was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer three years go which made her very poorly.
