Holkham is special for wildlife because of the great mix of habitats from

is next to the open sea, so take usual precautions and check tides. Also beware
of wartime unexploded bombs which have been found around the reserve | Essential

National Nature Reserve extends from Burnham Norton to Blakeney, covering about
4,000 hectares. The reserve is three miles west of Wells-next-the-Sea on the A149.
Three car parks linked by the Norfolk Coast Path. | Getting
there: | The Norfolk Coasthopper bus service
runs from King's Lynn and Hunstanton to Sheringham and makes two stops at Holkham.

Park and grounds - open daily except Christmas Day to walkers and cyclists. Closed
to vehicles at weekends from November to April except Easter. Ìý House
