Anglesey sits off the North coast of Wales, in view of Snowdonia National Park and sports many nature reserves and wildlife attractions.

One of the biggest and best reserves on the island is a massive dune system called Newborough Warren.

Access:

Disabled access just off the main car park in Newborough forest, and also an accessible bird hide by Llyn Rhos-Ddu. The former has toilets, but the latter does not.

Getting there:

For Llanddwyn Island, either walk from Newborough village through the forest or drive to Newborough Forest (toll road) and park by the beach.

If coming from Llanfairpwll on the A4080, you pass the post office on your right.

Take the road on the left sign posted for Llys Rhosyr.

Llanddwyn Island is accessible on foot at low tide.

Follow the A4080 south of Anglesey into Newborough. Signs will lead you to Newborough Warren and Llanddwyn. There is a £2 fee charge to park at Llanddwyn car park.
