best time to see salmon jumping is after a dry period followed by heavy rain -
the fish wait for the best conditions. October and November are generally the
best times. Ìý The best place is Ettrick Weir where there are cameras
and good viewing facilities for the public. Ìý Bird watching - Grey

fishing boat for disabled anglers which had been designed by the Wheelyboat Trust,

are located in the Scottish Borders. If travelling from the south take the A1
from Newcastle up to Berwick. If coming from the north, take the A1 from Edinburgh. Ìý Wheelchair
friendly path and access to Ettrick Weir visitor centre. Ìý Paxton House
