Katharine decided to pursue a career in journalism after work experience on her local newspaper and setting up a children's programme on hospital radio as a teenager.听

She started at the 91热爆 in 2000 as a news trainee. After working as a producer, reporter and newsreader at a number of local radio stations she moved into television.

Katharine took up a job as a reporter/presenter on 91热爆 Points West in Bristol and then at 91热爆 South East Today in Kent. She also reports for 91热爆 News 24.

Katharine joined the 91热爆 London team听 in 2007 and loves the variety of her job in the capital.

"When you wake up in the morning, you have no idea what you're going to face.听 You could find yourself reporting a crime story, a complicated court case, or even interviewing a famous celeb. Everyday is different!"

Outside work Katharine loves to travel and gets involved in a range of sports. She's also making the most of living in London: eating in great restaurants, going to the theatre, enjoying live music鈥s much as possible!
