Favourite day out

Pub lunch at my local in Archway, then walk it off climbing Parliament Hill. Or gawp at some art in the centre of town. Went to the Galleries Show at the Royal Academy recently and really enjoyed it. A snapshot of London's contemporary art scene - includes the chance to see The Jungle Book in 20 different languages at once.

Favourite night out

A lot of my friends from when I worked in Nottingham and Leicester have ended up in London - so getting us all together in the same place at the same time is always a winner. Two Floors on Kingly Street in Soho is a good bar to watch the trendy crowd. London gives me plenty of opportunity to eat Japanese food... Itsu and the Tokyo Diner are always excellent.

Who would you share a trip on the Millennium Eye with?

Comedian Ross Noble. The more 'Sonic Waffle' the better.

What's wrong with the capital?

I'm still amazed that in such a big city, the tube doesn't run all night. Even an extension until the small hours at the weekend would be a start.
