In the second ever Gospel Prom, hear some of the best Gospel music on offer, courtesy of the London Community Gospel Choir, the London Adventist Chorale and the V9 Collective.

The Proms pays tribute to David Bowie, the rock and pop legend, who died at the age of 69 in January this year and whose influence was felt in every field of the arts.

This Late Night Prom spotlights the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Scotland and features music by Duke Ellington and performances from saxophonist Iain Ballamy and singer Liane Carroll.

Jamie Cullum presents an evening of late-night jazz, with performances from 91Èȱ¬ Introducing artists, the Heritage Orchestra and conductor Jules Buckley.

This Late Night Prom intersperses the work of J. S. Bach – including the motet ‘Komm, Jesu, komm’ – with that of Estonian composer Arvo Pärt, including his ‘Nunc dimittis’. Harry Christophers conducts.

The São Paulo Jazz Symphony joins Marin Alsop and the city’s symphony orchestra for a Late Night Prom exploring Brazilian popular music.

One of the most exciting saxophonists around, Kamasi Washington brings his band to the Proms to perform tracks from his latest album, The Epic. He’ll be joined by string players from the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and conductor Jules Buckley.

91Èȱ¬ Radio 3’s Sara Mohr-Pietsch presents an evening of revolutionary 20th-century music performed by Ensemble Intercontemporain and the 91Èȱ¬ Singers. The programme includes Bartók’s Three Village Scenes and Boulez’s Anthèmes 2.

In this Late Night Prom, Richard Egarr conducts the Academy of Ancient Music in Handel’s glorious Coronation Anthems – the most famous of which is ‘Zadok the Priest’.
