Shahidha Bari presents an exploration of Tchaikovsky鈥檚 letters, many of which were suppressed because of what they revealed about his sexuality. She is joined by composer Rolf Hind, with readings by actor Tom Stuart.

Tchaikovsky鈥檚 much-loved 鈥楶ath茅tique鈥� Symphony, with its thrilling Scherzo, and Sibelius鈥檚 colourful Karelia suite, are joined by Mieczys艂aw Weinberg鈥檚 Cello Concerto, which remained unperformed until after Stalin鈥檚 death. Sol Gabetta is the soloist.
