This year鈥檚 concert will feature Homage To The Queen, written by Malcolm Arnold for the official coronation ballet in 1953, commissioned by the Sadler鈥檚 Wells Ballet in honour of Queen Elizabeth II.

This year鈥檚 concert will feature Homage To The Queen, written by Malcolm Arnold for the official coronation ballet in 1953, commissioned by the Sadler鈥檚 Wells Ballet in honour of Queen Elizabeth II.

The concert will also feature Arnold鈥檚 Symphony No.2 and Shostakovich鈥檚 Age Of Gold Suite and Piano Concerto No.2, performed by soloist Rose McClachlan. McClachlan is on the verge of taking the country by storm, having won the Beethoven Piano Society intercollegiate Piano Competition in February.
