Ravel鈥檚 sparkling Piano Concerto and his marvellous orchestration of Mussorgsky鈥檚 Pictures at an Exhibition join Barber's early and highly expressive First Symphony. To complement the rest of teh programme, James Feddeck conducts teh UK premiere of Icarus in Orbit by Pulitzer Prize-winning George Walker, who turned 95 in 2017.
