Experience two very different approaches to folk music in one concert: Bart贸k鈥檚 intense, earthy response to Hungarian Folk Song and Tchaikovsky鈥檚 folk-inspired Second Symphony. Both are packed with melodies that you鈥檒l remember for days. Warm and romantic, Bruch鈥檚 Double Concerto has all of the great qualities of his First Violin Concerto, plus the wisdom of maturity.
