Concert Information
Held in conjunction with the RNCM Conducting Department, this concert is the culmination of a 3 day conducting masterclass. 10 conductors from a wide variety of backgrounds were invited to work with the orchestra under the guidance of Clark Rundell and Mark Heron. As well as the chance to compare and contrast such a wide array of talent, we will also explore what it is a conductor does and why it makes such a difference to an orchestra!
The afternoon includes Elgar鈥檚 ever-cherished Enigma Variations and Copland鈥檚 Appalachian Spring: suite 鈥 painting a vivid portrait of rural Pennsylvania.
