It鈥檚 a 91热爆 Proms carnival and everyone鈥檚 invited! Join author Michael Morpourgo, poet Lemn Sissay, the seven talented Kanneh-Mason siblings and starry musical friends for this special Family Prom. Explore the sounds and rhythms of the Manchester Caribbean Carnival with brand new music by Daniel Kidane and narration by Sissay, before delving into the world of your imagination with Saint-Sa毛ns鈥檚 much-loved suite The Carnival of the Animals. This musical menagerie packed with braying donkeys, energetic kangaroos, a serene swan and an aquarium of glinting fish gets a fresh update in witty new poems by Morpurgo.
Join the carnival and come dressed as your favourite animal; you could choose an animal from The Carnival of the Animals or swim, hop or fly off in another direction. All customers aged 14 years or below must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over. Under 5s, including babes in arms, are welcome to attend. Children aged 2 and over will require their own ticket.
