About This Event

Brian Conaghan was born and raised in Coatbridge. His previous YA novels have earned him the 2016 Costa Children’s Book Award and a Carnegie Medal nomination. His new novel Cardboard Cowboys tells the story of the friendship between 12 year old Lenny and Bruce, who lives in a cardboard house. The poignant yet life affirming story that follows explores themes of homelessness, bullying and friendship. P7-S3.
