Paul Dukas鈥檚 brief, intoxicating ballet La P茅ri opens tonight鈥檚 Prom, before Chlo毛 Hanslip gives the world premiere of a new Violin Concerto by Michael Berkeley.

Jac van Steen conducts excerpts from one of the most dramatic and colourfully scored of all ballets, Prokofiev鈥檚 Romeo and Juliet, a highlight of our series marking 400 years since the death of Shakespeare.
