Come and join members of the 91热爆 Symphony Orchestra at the iconic Maida Vale Studios for an exciting Family Orchestra and Chorus project culminating in a performance which will be recorded for future broadcast on 91热爆 Radio 3.
The 91热爆 SO Family Orchestra and Chorus is an ensemble for all ages, all instruments, and all levels of ability. Over the course of one weekend, you and your family will have the chance to make music together and work with 91热爆 Symphony Orchestra musicians to create a new piece of music from scratch.
It's free to take part and open to anyone aged 7 and over. All participants under 16 will need to be accompanied throughout by a parent or guardian aged 18 or above. All abilities are welcome, whether you're a virtuoso violinist, budding trumpet player or you鈥檝e only just picked up our drum sticks. If you're completely new to music, you can come along and sing in the chorus or join the percussion section. You don't need to be able to read music.
To take part in this project you will need to commit to both of the following dates:
Saturday 18 April, 11.00am-4.00pm
Sunday 19 April, 11.30am-c.4.00pm
The workshops and performance will take place at 91热爆 Maida Vale Studios, Delaware Road, London W9 2LG.
