The
Trotters lose their riches in a bad investment in the Central
American Markets, and are declared bankrupt. They return to
Peckham, and their Mandela
House flat.
Cassandra
and Rodney are finding
their love life is a little flat, so they spice it up by role
playing their fantasies. Cassie becomes Rodney's police woman,
and Rodney doesn't quite look right as Gladiator.
Del
appears on the game show 'Goldrush' in a last ditch attempt
to win their fortune back.
Despite
a phone call saying Del won a badly written final question,
Del tells Mickey Pearce
to stick his so-called 'fifty grand'.
'Goldrush'
was a last minute substitute for real life game show
'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' - also the title of
an earlier episode - it seemed ITV and the 91Èȱ¬ apparently
could not find a suitable arrangement so a fictional
show was concocted.
Producer:
[Shocked] Jonathon. He said give the fifty grand to
charity. Jonathon Ross: You're kidding! Oh, what a nice
guy.
