The academic pedigree of the negotiating teams
Andrew Stunell clearly has no place in these negotiations. Take a look at the teams:
Liberal Democrats:
David Laws (public school and Oxford Cambridge*)
Andrew Stunell (grammar school and Manchester)
Danny Alexander (comprehenisve school and Oxford)
Chris Huhne (public school and Oxford)
Conservatives:
George Osborne (public school and Oxford)
William Hague (comprehensive school and Oxford)
Oliver Letwin (Eton and Oxford Cambridge*)
Ed Llewellyn (Eton and Oxford)Ìý
Labour:
Lord Adonis (independent school and Oxford)
Lord Mandelson (grammar school and Oxford)
Ed Miliband (comprehensive school and Oxford)
Ed Balls (public school and Oxford)
Mind you, it could be worse for Mr Stunnell. He could be a woman.

I know that it must be frustrating for you and the the press corp, but
how great it is that the negotiating teams have so successfully kept the
press at bay. I do hope that the 24 hour rolling press comment is over
for a while - it has become a great bore.

It is plain to see that Brown cannot function as PM (I leave you to decide just how much of his backroom 'prowess' was hype).
Quite bizarrely, Helena Kennedy told Andrew Neill she admires Brown! How does a rational mind admire a man of 59 who doen't have the maturity to stay out of jobs he can't do? Is 'The Law' really an ass?

A new recruit MP informed the world (via Daily Politics) that he had not got his phone yet, but HAD been allocated a whip. That sounds like a rendition euphemism! (Not that we British had any part in THAT!)

And now the whole country is going to the dogs! Perhaps we need a few more who went the Academy of Hard Knocks?

Well Mr Brown: this person is more interested in getting mature, confident governance (rather than a bunch of devious, need-driven wannabes) into Parliamnet. All else follows - and functions better.

Suddenly we are being told, repeatedly, that governance must be in the national interest! Since when was the Westminster Ethos 'in the national interest'? By the time the factions have protected dogma, leader (and their back) the poiticians, of all paries, have little time left for interest in ANYTHING worthwhile.
