I've just checked the debate on 'Conservative 91Èȱ¬'. It's amazing! Since the candidate is from CCO and distinctive as they are these days, the local reaction is suspicious. DC's organisation policies don't seem to have the support of his grass roots, which are prepared to risk all two weeks before the election is called.

The reaction from Central Office is to brand those calling for the deselection as racist. This ridiculous and insulting,if they had been racist he would never have been chosen in the first place. In these days when so many have a low opinion of MP's we can ill afford to have a candidate who has so many question marks about his past behaviour and qualifications. We are told by Mr Cameron that he wants local people to take responsibility for society and then as soon as loyal hard working party members question the facts they were given and the limited choice they had, their objections are dismissed with contempt and over ridden. If this is the reaction from Central Office and the leadership I for one will put my X elsewhere, as I feel will many others
