New Balls please?

Michael Crick | 12:48 UK time, Monday, 26 April 2010

The Financial Times reporter at this morning's Labour press conference asked Ed Balls what he thought of the Conservatives now targeting his seat of Morley and Outwood and pursuing a decapitation strategy.

The FT's man was obviously too polite to call it was everyone else is calling it - a castration strategy.

THE CLUE IS IN THE NAME 'ED BALLS

The bemused, glassy stare that says to the world: "My middle name is Narcissus" tells all. The eyes have it where Ed is concerned. He sees nothing but his own magnificence with those eyes. Hence - decapitation is appropriate.

Well said BarrieSingleton, absolutely spot on! Problem is that this man actually beleives in his own drivel. At least the likes of Mandelson KNOW they are talking rubbish. What was enormously funny recently was Ed Balls filmed reaction to the Tories announcement on their plans for the NI Increase. Childrens secretary? Childishness Secretary more like! Toys straight of the cot, spitting venom and vowing revenge, I have seen nothing like it since my days in the junior school playground. Fit to GOVERN? No sir, not even fit to be a governor of a kindergarten.

    HAIL FELLOW PRAM-SPOTTER! (#3)

If Newsnight had a psychology-based ethos (instead of edgy-based) the tell-tale 'behaviours' (where has Stat/U495860238 gone?) of our politicians, would come under public service scrutiny, and analysis.

I didn't see your Balls debacle, but I did see 'Elvis meets Brown'. It was almost impossible to watch. The mad Labour Machine had brought in Elvis, but Brown gave him the Arctic Monkey Shoulder! The poor bugger (Brown) was RIGID with panic, looking straight ahead as if he had suddenly realised he was surrounded by dangerous dogs.

Incidentally, I felt Elvis was better at the twitching than the singing.

no no for an Elvis person he was quite good...Brown avoided him like he was KING KONG the 1933 original....
