QI Returns to 91Èȱ¬ Two

The setting sun is just a mirage, the oldest trick in the book is a goose decapitation, and 'not enough room to swing a cat' means exactly that - just a few of the things we've learnt from QI recently. And now the world's most challenging quiz is returning to 91Èȱ¬ Two for its ninth series, which starts in the autumn.

George Entwistle, the Acting Director of 91Èȱ¬ Vision says it will be "custom-built for a post watershed slot where I guess it might dare to be even more interesting." John Lloyd, creator and series producer says: "QI did very well in the ratings on 91Èȱ¬ One but we thought we ought to give Coronation Street a fighting chance. We're very happy to be back in our old den on 91Èȱ¬ Two."

Host Stephen Fry and regular panellist Alan Davies will both move along with it and will be joined each week by (mostly) willing guests who will try to answer impossibly difficult questions. Any "quite interesting" answer may get a point (whether right or wrong) and penalties will be imposed for obvious wrong answers."
