Well, there we have it. Robin Cooper Week has come to an end. But did the unexpected incident with an intruder spell the end for Robin Cooper himself? Thankfully not. Set aside your worries, for here he is with a special message of reassurance:

Once we heard that Robin was on the mend, we got in touch to see how he's been doing...

Comedy Blog: Robin, it must have been very exciting to have won the Spanish Lottery. What was your reaction upon receiving the good news?

Robin Cooper: Yes, thank you for asking, I was indeed very very happy (indeed). In fact, I was so happy that I immediately ate 45 walnuts.

Comedy Blog: Do you think you're a 'lucky' person - have you won other things?

Robin Cooper: I am quite a lucky person but I am also quite an unlucky person. For example, I once won a voucher that entitled me to 20% off wellington boots. But then I lost the voucher.

Comedy Blog: You had a bit of bad luck when you were trying to claim your prize. How is your bottom now?

Robin Cooper: My bottom is generally fine, thank you, although I still have a welt (i.e. swollen mark) where the rat bite/gun shot wound was. It is also quite painful when I go to the toilet.

Comedy Blog: Are you taking any measures to improve your home security in light of the recent intrusion?

Robin Cooper: I have been training a local crow to squawk on command, as soon as he (I think it's a he) sees a potential intruder. Unfortunately, crows are quite difficult to train, so our training lessons normally only last a couple of seconds before he flies off (in search of worms/grubs/mites for his crowlings).

Comedy Blog: At the weekend you appeared on Radio 4's Loose Ends to talk about your experiences - have you been on TV or radio before?

Robin Cooper: No I have never been on TV (I presume that means 'Tele-Vision') before, but I suppose I may have been. For example, I may have been in the background of a programme without even knowing of it. My friend, Martin Bayle (part of the Bayle family) has been on six tele-vision shows, including Michael Hartley's Win Your Weight in Aluminium. Sadly, he came second, which meant he only won the weight of his hands in aluminium.

Comedy Blog: What do you have planned for this Christmas?

Robin Cooper: A slap up meal! We will be having two turkeys, a roast chicken, slices of beef (and lamb), roast potatoes, boiled potatoes, mashed potatoes, biscuits, peas, carrots, stuffing (three different types), orange juice, orange squash, slices of orange, chocolate coins (family tradition), cabbage (red and normal), crispy lettuce, crisps, soup, onions, Christmas pudding, apple crumple, pear crumble, apricot crumble, chocolate sponge slices, parsley sprigs. Tea, coffee and delicious water!

Comedy Blog: Thanks for taking the time to talk to us Robin, and we wish you a full recovery.

Robin Cooper: You're most welcome. And may I wish all the 91Èȱ¬ viewers (and listeners) all the billy best!

Sounds like Robin is all set for a cracking Christmas.
