However - yes, it needs the laughter. And it would have been much funnier had Armstrong actually made the end look realistic - couldn't you have had a crewmember mumbling in the background or him talking into the earpiece? I felt I should be laughing but I just wasn't...
However, as I say, apart from that this is a really great thing to do!
