Is dancing to Lionel Richie bad?

Howdy blog partners! It's my turn again. Was supposed to do one last week but then Aled had to do his whole "I'm scared of flying" thing so we thought him talking to Paul McKenna would be more interesting…anyway..it's Monday and I think I am still suffering from a somewhat large weekend. Some vineyards in France have quite frankly run out of grapes...

Spent most of Friday after the show in bed as feeling well rough from this lurgy we all have - was supposed to go for a run (again) but slept all afternoon so that didn't happen (again), then met up with lovely Rach..we went to see a screening of …it's fantastic..very girly tho and total chick flick so may I advise you ladies not to drag your boyf along as he won't be impressed!! Still lots of beauties to look at so then again he might like it!!!

That was followed by an evening sponsored by bubbly..needless to say I was very much looking forward to bed…but still managed to wake up early with a stonking headache..yes all my own fault I hear all you "I told you so's" say...

Saturday started with a spring clean - I am very fond of those dust wipe things - minimal effort..loving that..Did manage an hours run so that was good. Chelsea beat Charlton too so all happy on the footy front...Then the piece de resistance of the weekend..Proms in the Park..Me and loads of mates piled down to Hyde Park in London, picnic in tow..Everyone showing off their rugs and picnic baskets!!

Terry Wogan and Ken Bruce kept us amused, Chas and Dave were awesome - even did the crowd pleaser Snooker Loopy - is it bad to know all the words?? Chico was there too..oh my god!!!! Then the legend that is ..what a legend..was leaping around to All Night Long and Dancing on the Ceiling. Ended up injuring my back!!

Again very sad I know but it was one hell of a laugh…everyone really chirpy on the bus home waving their union jacks…you can't beat a bit of Jerusalem..my dad kept hoping if we jumped about enough he'd see us on the telly but sadly not…

Sunday was mainly spent recovering from said back injury…tho did manage a shopping trip and lunch at Wagamama's (other noodle restaurant chains are available) - can't beat a bit of spicy noodle that’s what I say!

Anyway it’s the start of a brand new week now..Hopefully going down to Spurs tomorrow to have a chat with some of the lads here more at the end of the week..

Kath, while we all now know you do not like Carrie very much, there are others that do. Also, she is getting paid very well thank you for annoying you with her laugh.

Your opinion is yours, you've expressed it, let it go, and remember just one thing... Opinons are like bumholes, everyone has one, but not everyone forces theirs on the world.

Couldn't possibly turn over - limited access to radio stations under rocks. I would miss Chris, David & Rachel too much as I just love them!!!! Everybody is entitled to their opinion and mine is still that Carrie is extremely annoying!!!

Carrie I think you are being teased so much about your new york man, any man lucky enough to go out wiht you would be honured,
I think you and chris bounce off each other so well, the way he teases you you give as much back.
So you and Rachel like to go out and have a few drinks you go girl.
You keep up the entertainement makes the journey to work so funny

I'm sure Kath has a point that applies directly to her. And the remedy is very simple: turn over and stay over. Stop downloading the podcasts. Be comfortable with the fact that other people may have laughs unlike yours.

7,999,999 other people surely can't be wrong..?

can the rock person please take a moment to realise that both carrie and dom work for a succesful radio station and that said person resides under a rock (please excuse spelling).

I am speaking from under my rock!!

It is Carries' laugh that makes her so annoying!!

Not only are Carrie & Dom ruining the programme - they're also ruining the podcasts!!

Good job Carrie. I love what you and Dom bring to the show (personally think dom should have his own show on 6 music).

Kath you need to hush - go crawl back under your rock.

Kath, thats not very nice, Carrie & Dom make up a good part of the Chris Moyles show... Chri's antics & making Carrie laugh by tickling her are hilarious, Dom's 1 Road Travel and other random stuff they do just make the morning up IMHO.

Carrie on the good work ;)

Jake.

Can't believe you injured your back though, must have been some serious dancing! How are you going to dance around the studio to Scissor Sisters now? ;-)
