This clip looks at the main features of a Church of Scotland building, with a focus on the pews, pulpit, Communion table, lectern and the font.

Students could be given photographs of different churches, and go on to find and label the following key features in each picture: the lectern, the communion table, the pews, the font and the pulpit. Students could also design and draw their own church interiors, being sure to include these key features. Explanations which describe the use of each item of furniture could also be added to the pictures.
