Snoot, why don鈥檛 you share out destructor bots between 3 of you, so you can all play?
NARRATOR: Come on, Snoot.

NARRATOR: So, there鈥檚 3 of you, and there鈥檚 12 destructor bots altogether.
So you need to work out, how many times does 3 go into 12?
The answer is 4.
FIN: (ALIEN LANGUAGE)
NARRATOR: I see you鈥檙e not satisfied Fin.
Do you want to have a go at dividing them up?
As there鈥檚 12 bots and 3 of you, you prefer to take away 3 from 12 until you鈥檝e got none left.
1 group of 3鈥
2 groups of 3鈥
3 groups of 3鈥
4 groups of 3.
That makes 1鈥 2鈥 3鈥
4 groups of 3 altogether, which means 12 divided by 3 equals 4.
BOTH: Aha!
NARRATOR: That鈥檚 a really great way of working it out.
To find out what 12 divided by 3 equals, just keep taking away 3 from 12 until you鈥檝e got none left.
The amount of times you can take away is the answer: this time, 4.

How can subtracting help you divide?
If you have to divide a number you can get the same answer by taking away the number you are dividing by over and over again.
Example
What is 10 梅 2?
Find the answer by taking 2 away from 10 again and again until you can't do it any more.
10 - 2 = 8
8 - 2 = 6
6 - 2 = 4
4 - 2 = 2
2 - 2 = 0
You have taken 2 away 5 times. So 10 梅 2 = 5
While juggling, Fin and Snoot learn that subtraction is the opposite of addition.
