Molly: Hmmm鈥corns have been falling in the morning, but then disappearing by the evening, the squirrels must be taking them.
Narrator: This table shows the acorns you鈥檝e tracked over the past week and this chart shows there have been lots of squirrels around.
But if we analyse that data, other animals have been spotted too!
That brings us to our big conclusion鈥t鈥檚 not just squirrels that are taking the acorns.
Interpreting data
'Data' means 'information'. So interpreting data just means working out what the information is telling you.
Information is sometimes shown in tables, charts and graphs to make the information easier to read. It is important to read all the different parts of the table, chart or graph.
