Classroom Ideas
Students could undertake further research into the story of Boudicca and her battle with the Romans. Students could make a photo story book to retell the story through drama and writing.
Students could be organised into groups and asked to create a tableau, a frozen picture, for each of the main events in Boudicca鈥檚 story. If available, students could use props and choose the location of their tableau. Photographs of each frozen image could be taken and given to students in order to create their photo story. Students could add text to describe each part of the story being illustrated. They could also share their books with other classmates.
