Jenny is on the family TV quiz show, ‘Happy Families’. She is asked about the part she plays in her family and is shown how she could help to improve relationships by making different and more positive choices.

When the girl in this clip makes her choices the clip could be paused and students could consider how this option would play out in real life. Groups could create a role-play to show what might happen if she goes ahead with this choice. Students could then vote on what they would choose in order to avoid family conflict.

Alternatively, students could create their own family scenarios where conflict could occur, depending on the course of action we decide to take. They could pose the question to the class and then role-play the answer they give to see if this does, in fact, result in peaceful family life.
