Having a conversation

When you're having a conversation:

  • Listen to what the other person is saying and show interest in what they are saying.
  • Let them finish before responding.
  • Ask relevant questions that start with 'how' or 'why'.
  • It's OK to disagree, but don't let it become an argument.
