There are many other useful prepositions that describe where something is situated.
These are some of the most commonly used in French:

These prepositions don鈥檛 require you to change the article before or after them. For example:
- j鈥檃i log茅 dans un appartement devant la cath茅drale - I stayed in an apartment in front of the cathedral
- le caf茅 se trouve entre l鈥檕ffice de tourisme et la poste - the caf茅 is between the Tourist Information office and the post office
- il est rentr茅 chez moi avant d鈥檃ller chez Antoine - he came back to my house before he went to Antoine鈥檚 house
