Chain Gang Competition Rules |

1. This competition is open to all UK residents, excepting employees or contractors of the 91Èȱ¬, any person directly or indirectly involved in the 91Èȱ¬ or the running of the competition, or their direct family members.
2. Entries should be a maximum of 200 words.
3. You must provide the 91Èȱ¬ with your name, e-mail address, phone number and entry if you wish to enter this competition. The 91Èȱ¬ (or companies working for the 91Èȱ¬) will only ever use your personal details for the purposes of administering this competition, and will not pass them on to anyone without your permission. If you would like to know more about the 91Èȱ¬â€™s privacy policy, please see Privacy Policy. Entries must be submitted using the correct online form. Entries submitted by any other method will only be accepted when clearly specified.
4. The deadline for receiving entries for the competition is shown on the entry page.
5. Your submitted entry must be for an previously unpublished original story, written by you, containing no defamatory matter, third party copyright material or quotes.
6. You may enter the competition as many times as you wish.
7. By entering into this competition you agree to grant the 91Èȱ¬ the right to publish and broadcast the story in all media for all purposes in connection with the competition only on 91Èȱ¬ 7 and its associated website, including the right to abridge/adapt the work for broadcasting purposes. Any further use shall be subject to good faith negotiations of terms with the author.
8. Winning entries will be made available as ‘on-demand’ audio files, accessed via the 91Èȱ¬ 7 website, for up to 20 weeks after the closing date.
9. The Editor’s decision is final and no negotiation will be entered into.
10. The prize must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. There will be no cash alternatives.
11. The 91Èȱ¬ does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries due to the Internet or postal service. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
12. Entrants must supply full details as required above, and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prize. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
13. If the 91Èȱ¬ is unable to contact the winner it reserves the right to either offer the prize to the runner-up, or to re-offer the prize in any future competition on the site.
14. The 91Èȱ¬ reserves the right to cancel this competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of its control.
15. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering the competition.
16. These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
17. This competition is administered by the 91Èȱ¬.
18. Entrants must agree to take part in any post-competition publicity.
