Manchester Screenwriting Meet Up are looking for Manchester based screenwriters who want to develop their craft and learn more about screenwriting.
The group does things like:
- Script read out sessions; have your script read out loud and get feedback on the script so that you can make it better.
- Craft development sessions; reading professional scripts and trying to work out what makes them work, and lessons that you can take away.
- Scriptwriting challenges; often to write a short 3 page script with a focus in mind, such as no dialogue, or contained scripts. Something to get the juices flowing.
- Finally they also do professional Q&A鈥檚 with industry professionals.
You must be based within the Greater Manchester region, or happy to travel. Meet ups are once every two weeks, and alternate between Zoom and in person to make it more accessible.
