Looking for the perfect Pancake Day treat? Check out our banana pancake recipe!

To celebrate Shrove Tuesday, Children's Dietitian, Angharad has made you all this delicious pancake or cr锚pe weaning recipe.

This quick and easy recipe will make about 6 pancakes.

They are suitable for little ones who are 6 plus months.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana

  • 150ml of milk

  • 1 tbsp of veg oil

  • 1 egg

  • 50g of plain flour

Method

Step one

Peel and mash your banana in a bowl with a fork.

Step two

Add the egg to the banana and whisk.

Step three

Add milk and mix. Next, add flour and whisk until smooth.

Step four

Pour the batter into a jug then heat a little oil in the frying pan on a medium heat. Pour the mixture into the pan.

Step five

Cook the pancake for 2-3 mins on each side.

Step six

Continue until you have used all the batter. Serve and enjoy!
