Wrapping paper, magazines, junk mail and envelopes - before they go into the recycling, why not use them for play?
Together, with your baby, you could rip, wave and throw the paper - and talk as you play.
The more words your baby hears, the more they learn. They might scrunch the paper into a ball - this lets them see, feel and hear how the paper changes; brilliant for their developing brain and muscles!
Make a paper aeroplane and talk as you do the actions! Younger babies will enjoy watching them fly.
Older babies and toddlers will chase the planes, it's a fun way to get them moving!
- Bring it back! Bring it back!
