By spending hours building levels on the game: 'Little Big Planet', he caught the attention of the games designers and coders.

User generated content is becoming more and more popular and is paving the way for new and exciting games designers like John to break through.

You could use this short film to explain to your class what an algorithm is, what algorithms are used for and how they can be interpreted in different forms (flowcharts, pseudo code, text based programming).

An activity could be started on the use of algorithms in visual and text based programming and a discussion could be started on the use of visual programming to teach people how to code.
