This collection of resources can be used to support teaching around Eid ul-Fitr (also known as Eid al-Fitr) - which can be translated as the 'Festival of the Breaking of the Fast' .
When is Eid ul-Fitr?
The Muslim festival of Eid is celebrated at the end of Ramadan - the month of fasting.
Eid is celebrated on the first day of the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. In 2025 Ramadan will begin on 28 February and Eid will follow on Sunday, 30 March.
