Great Britain's Kirsty Muir secured her second World Cup podium of the season by finishing third at the Freeski Big Air World Cup event in Copper Mountain.

The 19-year-old Scot claimed second place in Beijing, China this month and followed that success with a score of 173.75 in Colorado.

Tess Ledeux of France was first, with Sweden's Mathilde Gremaud second.

"Today was a difficult one," said Muir. "I had to push through some knee pain after crashing on my second run."

Muir, who has won three of her four career podiums in the United States, said she was "proud" of herself for getting back up and completing her third run.

"I'm happy there's a chance for some rest and recovery over Christmas, and I'm ready to keep sending in 2024," she added.
