Career highlights
Slopestyle snowboarder Morgan finished fourth at the 2013 World Championships and won bronze at the World Cup meeting in Sierra Nevada to end last season second in the world rankings.
In December 2011, he became the first snowboarder ever to land a triple backside rodeo - essentially three flips in mid-air.
Career lowlights
Morgan snapped both his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and medial cruciate ligament in September 2013, and will be competing in Sochi without an ACL.
Career background
Like many of the British freestyle skiing and snowboarding team, Morgan has a gymnastics background.
He used to do acrobatics in his hometown of Southampton (he was the gymnast at the top of a human pyramid) but quit when he was 13 and learned to snowboard the following year on a dryslope in Southampton.
Did you know?
Morgan can walk down stairs on his hands. He was preparing to follow in the footsteps of his granddad, dad and brother (a helicopter navigator) and join the navy until his snowboarding took off.
