Ireland forward Dorothy Wall has joined Exeter Chiefs Women for the upcoming Premiership Women's Rugby season.

The 24-year-old, who can play in the second row or at flanker, has won 28 caps for Ireland.

She helped her country qualify for next year's World Cup after a third-placed finish in this year's Six Nations.

Wall has also captained Munster and Clovers in the Celtic Challenge.

She joins fellow Irish players Nichola Fryday, Edel McMahon and Cliodhna Moloney at Sandy Park.

鈥淎t this point in my life, a change makes sense for me, both personally and professionally," Wall told the club website.

"I鈥檓 excited to hopefully run out at Sandy Park next season alongside my other Irish team-mates.

鈥淚鈥檇 like to thank the IRFU and Munster rugby for their support and understanding and I remain hugely committed to Ireland as we head into a Rugby World Cup year.鈥

Exeter head coach Susie Appleby added: 鈥淒orothy is a really exciting player who can play in both the back and second rows but is also a great carrier of the ball and has leadership experience."
