Wing Will Muir has scored seven tries for Bath this season after returning from a knee injury that ruled him out for most of last season

Bath winger Will Muir has signed a new three-year contract to extend his stay with the Premiership side until the summer of 2027.

The 28-year-old signed for Bath in 2020 and has scored 24 tries in 52 games.

Muir was called up to the England squad for the first time this week ahead of the Six Nations.

The former sevens player, who missed almost all of last season with a knee injury, was named England Sevens player of the year in 2019.

"His try-scoring ability, his finishing, his aerial skills, his work-rate on and off the ball and his contact skills are just some of the reasons why we are keeping him at Bath," said Bath head of rugby Johann van Graan.

Muir follows prop Will Stuart, who also signed a contract extension to stay at Bath this week.
