But Delaney, whose side gained a on Friday told : "We are building and getting better.

"We're adding to the side and evolving and want momentum for the play-offs."

Nottingham have signed forwards and in the past past two weeks, as well as securing former England centre to a longer contract.

And 91热爆 Radio Nottingham understands they are likely to make further signings in the coming weeks.

"We have 11 games before the play-off campaign and we want to make sure we are right," said Delaney, who was delighted with his side's patience in the win over Albion at Meadow Lane.

"It was a close game for a long, long period. We knew we had to keep going and it took the full 80 minutes to get the fourth try.

"The defence around the breakdown and rucks was outstanding. The tight five were immense. The workrate stats were big and that lays the tempo. If you don't muscle up around the breakdown then you don't beat Plymouth."
